What is Tastykake Consumer Insights?
Tastykake Consumer Insights is a group of consumers like you who will help Tastykake make decisions about our products and offerings. Periodically, we'll ask your opinions on potential new products, flavors or packaging, for example. Your thoughts are really important to us and will enable us to keep bringing the types of products you want to market.
What types of research will I participate in?
First, you are not obligated to participate in any study, even if you sign up. But, if you do participate, you will be rewarded with great Tastykake products, coupons and money depending on the type of research. The types of research will vary depending on what we may be looking to find out.
1. Online Surveys
Simple and easy, this type of survey can be completed in the comfort of your home or office. You just need to click on the link, fill out the survey and we will reward you for your efforts. A typical survey will take no more than 15 minutes and you will receive discount coupons for every survey you complete.
2. Focus Groups
We conduct focus group for a number of reasons. We might be testing new products, asking you to talk about packaging or advertising, or just want to know why you shop a certain way. Focus groups, usually conducted in the Philadelphia area, require a little more of your time and the sessions are more intimate. It will be you and up to 9 other consumers, plus 1 moderator and a topic to talk about. You will be compensated for your participation - $75.00 for each session.
3. "A Day in the Life" Study
You might be wondering whose day we are talking about. To be frank, it's yours. In this type of study, one of our professional researchers follows you on a typical grocery shopping trip to ask you questions and observe your purchases. That may sound a little weird but actually this provides us with the truest perspective on how and why you make decisions. A typical outing would be based on your time and we would compensate you $150.00 per trip. We may record your comments, and maybe even throw in some Tastykake products.
